Zurich 2001

We were at Zurich Airport in 1994 and 2001, filming airside and from their excellent spectator facilities. We made two very popular videos, that were subsequently combined into a double DVD set. Each video is now being re-released to stream, after being upgraded to wide screen high definition, using the latest Artifical Intelligence software.

One of the fascinating things about aviation is the way in which everything is constantly changing. So, you would expect to find that most of the aircraft featured in our 1994 Zurich video had either disappeared or moved on to other operators by now. But the idea that Swissair would be grounded just five months after filming our second video in 2001, would have seemed crazy at the time.

Airport Action Zurich [1994] has been digitally re-mastered from the original camera tapes and given a new commentary that provides details of the subsequent careers of some of the aircraft featured.

Zurich 2001 was originally a digital production and this has been transferred to DVD with the commentary unaltered. As a result, it’s a real ‘time capsule’ – taking you back to an era when Swissair was still one of the world’s major airlines.
