Airports in the 90s – Manchester takes you back to the late Nineties, with 75 minutes of airside action at Manchester that was not previously been released on VHS video. It’s amazing just how many once-familiar airlines, colour schemes and equipment have now gone forever.
Highlights include:
A review of a great airliner that’s now a classic – the Boeing 737 Series 200. There were lots of them at Manchester ten years ago and we’ve got some nice noisy action from right by the runway.
Remember the British Airways ‘World Tails’ series? They were at their peak when we were filming and they get a special feature on this DVD.
The Nineties saw the beginning of the end for many tri-jets like DC10s, Tristars and 727s, so they too have their own section here.
Business and leisure flights, including Concorde arriving and departing on a day trip, complete our look back at this major airport a decade ago
